Toronado Barleywine Festival starts February 13, 2010

Barbeerians!

The famous (infamous?) liver challenging Toronado Barleywine Festival starts February 13, 2010 this year. Several of your Barbeerian brethren will be involved in judging the beer, and if history is any indication many more will be busy actively pillaging the place.

Jerry Macala's interview on NPR's "The Story" airs Thursday Jan 14, 2010

Hey Barbeerians!

I spent quite a bit of the interview talking about my efforts to brew beer at the south pole, so I think you might enjoy this:

I was interviewed by NPR's "The Story" regarding my experience in Antarctica. The interview airs tomorrow, Thursday Jan 14, 2010.

In Los Angeles you can hear it on KPCC-FM 89.3 at 08:00 PM
other listings available at http://thestory.org/Stations

I don't think it will be heard over the air in Santa Barbara, but you should be able to stream it.
